कालच्या भागात एका वाचकाने प्रश्न विचारला आहे की , अंगठ्या वरूनच पाणी का देतात ?
त्याचे उत्तर असे आहे की , देवाला , रूषी , आणि पितर यांना जे पाणी दिले जाते त्याला तर्पण असे म्हणतात .आपल्या हाताची पाच बोटं आहेत त्यातील अंगठा आणि अंगठ्या शेजारील पहिले बोट ज्याला तर्जनी म्हणतात , ही दोन बोटे पितरांकरता वापरावीत , मधले बोट स्वतःच्या कपाळाला गंध किंवा कुंकू लावण्या करता वापरावे , करंगळीच्या शेजारचे बोट आनामिका याने देवाला , गुरुंना , साधुसंताना गंध लावावे. म्हणून देवाला तर्पण करताना सरळ हातावरून पाणी द्यावे , रूषींना तर्पण करताना करंगळी च्या बाजुने तिरकी ओंजळ करून पाणी द्यावे , आणि पितरांना अंगठ्याच्या बाजुने तिरपा हात करून पाणी द्यावे.

दुसरी शंका ड .मिलिंद जोशी पुणे यांनी अशी विचारली आहे की ,
आत्म्याचा प्रवास या आभ्यास पुर्ण लेखातुन अनेक बाबी समजत आहेत, या बाबतच एक शंका आहे, हल्ली च्या धावपळी च्या जिवनात समजा जर आपल्या अगदी जवळचे कोणी निवर्तले व सुतक असेल तर, सुतक असलेल्या व्यक्तिने सुतकात त्याचे व्यवसाय अथवा कार्यालयात जाऊन त्याचे कर्तव्य करणे जरूरीचे असेल तर त्याने करावे का ???? व त्या संदर्भात व या दरम्यान अन्नग्रहण करणे बाबत याोग्य ते यम नियमनां बाबत तज्ञांनी योग्य ते मार्गदर्शन करावे ही नम्र विनंति.

वरील शंका विचारली आहे त्याचे उत्तर
सुतकामधे घरातील देवपूजा व कोणतेही मंगल कार्य करू नये अथवा कुठल्याही मंगल कार्यास जावु नये, कुठल्याही देवळात जावु नये मात्र देवतेचे बाहेरून दर्शन घ्यायला हरकत नाही. आपला जो नित्यनियम आहे तो करावा , उदाहरणार्थ हरिपाठ वाचन , गायत्री मंत्र सोडुन ईतर नामजप ,कीर्तन ,प्रवचन करण्यास हरकत नाही . नित्याची नोकरी , कामधंद्यास जायला हरकत नाही मात्र जाने अग्नी दिला आहे त्याने वरील कोणत्याही गोष्टी करू नये व दहा दिवस घराबाहेर पण जावु नये . सुतकामधे पलंग , गादीवर झोपु नये , चहा सोडुन कुठलेही गोड पदार्थ खावु नये, दररोज अंघोळ करावी मात्र कपाळाला तिलक लावु नये, अत्तर अथवा स्प्रे पर्फ्युम वापरू नये , नवीन वस्त्र परिधान करू नये, बाकी नित्याचे व्यवहार चालु ठेवावेत. दहाव्या व अकराव्या दिवशी घरातील सर्वांनी डोक्यावरून अंघोळ करावी , सुतकातील सर्व कपडे धुवावेत, आणि घरात सगळीकडे गोमूत्र शिंपडावे. अकराव्या दिवशी कपाळाला कुंकू , टिकली गंध लावावे .
या आत्म्याला पुढील गतीकरता अकरावा , बारावा , व तेराव्या दिवशीचे विधी करावेत .
चवदाव्या दिवशी घरात निधनशांत व उदकशांत करावी आणि मगच घरातील देवपूजा करावी . त्या दिवशी खांदेकर्यांना नातेवाईकांना गोडाचे भोजन द्यावे. संध्याकाळी अग्नी देणाऱ्याने डोक्यावर नविन टोपी घालावी , खांद्यावर टाॕवेल किंवा उपरणे घ्यावे व शंकराच्या मंदिरात जावुन गाभार्यात तुपाचे निरांजन लावुन ठेवावे, शंकर ही मृत्यूची देवता आहे, आत्म्यास सद् गती प्राप्त व्हावी व कुटुंबातील सर्वांचे रक्षण करावे अशी प्रार्थना करून डोक्यावरील टोपी व खांद्यावरील उपरणे तेथेच काढुन ठेवावे , लावलेले निरांजन घरी आणु नये.
प्रेताला जर अग्नी दिला नाही , देहदान केले , किंवा वरील सर्व विधी केले नाहीत तर काय होते ? मुसलमान असे विधी करतात का ? हे पुढील लेखात पाहु --

In Sutka, one should not worship God in the house and do any mangal work or go to any mangal work, one should not go to any temple but there is no problem in seeing the deity from outside.
