जगातील सर्वात लहान देश, व्हॅटिकन सिटी 0.44 चौरस किमी इतक्याच क्षेत्रात पसरलेला आहे. हा देश चारही बाजूंनी इटलिमधील रोम या शहराने वेढलेला आहे. व्हॅटिकन सिटी हे जगभरातील लाखो रोमन कॅथलिक लोकांचे पूजनीय स्थान आहे. लोकसंख्येने सर्वात लहान असलेल्या या देशात एकही भारतीय रहात नाही याचे आश्चर्य वाटायला नको.

इथे एक गोष्ट लक्षात घ्या की ही आकडेवारी फक्त अनिवासी भारतीय (NRI) आणि भारतीय वंशाचे नागरिक (PIO) यांचाच विचार करून बनविली आहे.
यात भारतीय कैदी आणि राजनैतिक मुत्सद्दी यांचा विचार केला गेलेला नाही!
