Mahaviataran is always commited to provide quick and trusted service to its consumers. It has come up with its quick, missed call and SMS service for its consumers to register their complaints regarding the power failure through their mobile phone.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the state has declared lockdown from 22th March to 3rd May 2020. Therefore, the Hon. Energy Minister Dr.Nitin Raut, instructed Mahavitaran to make it for the consumers to register their complaints regarding power failure, sitting in their home. This facility is available to the consumers from today onwards.
It is mandatory that the consumer must have registered his mobile number along with the Consumer number for registering the power failure complaint through missed call. The consumer has to give a missed call from his registered number to Mahavitaran on 022-41078500. On the basis of this missed call, the Consumer number will be identified through a computerised system and accordingly a SMS will be sent to the consumer that the complaint is registered.
The consumers who have not yet registered their mobile number with Mahavitaran for availing the missed call or SMS service, can send SMS through the number which they want to register by typing MREG and sending this SMS on 9930399303. The consumer's mobile number will be registered with Mahaviataran within 24 hours of receiving this message.
It is not mandatory to register the mobile number for registering the complaint through SMS. The complaint can be registered from any mobile number. However, the correct 12 digit Consumer number is mandatory. The complaint will be registered once the Consumer sends a SMS NOPOWER on 9930399303. The details about the SMS format will be sent to consumers. However, the complaint will be accepted only when the 12 digit Consumer number is correct.
Alongwith this new Missed call and SMS service, the consumer can also register power failure complaints through the previously available options such as the Mahavitaran website i.e. www.mahadiscom.in, mahavitaran mobile app and also on the 24X7 active Call center having toll free number 1800102343, 18002333435 or 1912.
