Nagpur- RGNIIPM a Central Government Institute under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry has celebrated World Intelelctual Property day on 26th April 2019 in association with Ready to innovate worldwide & Vidharba Industry Association. The said programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr Pramod M Padole, Director VNIT , Dr Suhas Buddhe, Honorary Secretary of VIA, Dr Pankaj Borkar, Mrs Pooja Moulikar wherein welcome address was given by the Dr Yogita Kasture co-ounder Ready to innovate worldwide.
Dr. Pankaj Borkar, Deputy Controller of Patents & Designs and Head, RGNIIPM addressed on the occasion of IP-day and given the importance of IPR for the students, faculty and industry members and ask them to work jointly to avoid the duplication of research work. He requested all to submit innovative projects in IP innovation Gallery
wherein the Chief Guest Dr Pramod M Padole, Director VNIT addressed the participants on his keynote address and emphasized participants to innovate and protect their IP by knowing all the procedures of IPR.
Dr Suhas Buddhe, Honory Secretary of VIA in his speech he has given many example for success story of IPs’ and he told all industry should adopt new technology and protect their IPR
The participants were from Industries, Educational Institutions, Students, Research Scholars, Law firms etc.
The lectures was delivered by Mrs Chhaya Satpute, Dr Ushoshi Guha IPR Attorney
In addition to above said World IP-day programme and IP innovation gallery was also set up at RGNIIPM, wherein exhibition of IP models, innovative products was displayed.
The best models, prototypes were awarded by R2i by selection by Jury members and faculty, Mrs Chhaya Satpute, Dr Ushoshi Guha, Mr Pratap Shukla and participation certificate was given by RGNIIPM.
