शहरातील रामाळा तलावात उडी घेऊन एका ४१ वर्षीय तरुणाने आत्महत्या केल्याची धक्कादायक घटना मंगळवारी सायंकाळी उघडकीस आली. प्रकाश पोटवार असे मृतकाचे नाव असून, ते वृत्तपत्र क्षेत्रात वितरण प्रतिनिधी म्हणून कार्यरत होते. घटनेची माहिती रामनगर पोलिसांना देण्यात आली. पोलिसांनी घटनास्थळी दाखल होऊन पंचनामा केला व मृतदेह पाण्याबाहेर काढून शवविच्छेदनासाठी जिल्हा सामान्य रुग्णालयात पाठविला.
मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार मृतक प्रकाश पोटवार हे जिल्हा स्टेडियम जवळ राहत होते. मागील 3 दिवसापासून ते बेपत्ता होते. याची तक्रार मृतकाच्या परिवाराने रामनगर पोलिसात दाखल केली होती. दरम्यान आज मंगळवारी शहरातील रामाळा तलावात त्यांचा मृतदेह आढळून आला. दरम्यान आत्महत्येचे नेमके कारण कळू शकले नसून पोलीस त्या दिशेने तपास करत आहेत.
