Receive Notifications for an Automated Rule
You can receive notifications about automated rules in two forms, in the business notifications menu in Ads Manager
and as emails.Business NotificationsThe automated rules system will send business notifications following any of the actions listed below:
A scheduled rule turns your campaigns, ad sets, or ads, on or off.
A scheduled rule adjusts the manual bid or budget of your campaigns, ad sets, or ads.
A scheduled rule fails to make the changes listed above when it is supposed to.
Email NotificationsWhen enabled, a summary will be sent to you via email for rule activities once per day. You can set up these notifications when you create a new rule or by editing an existing rule.
Create brand new ads.
Select campaign parameters, like an advertising objective, to fit your business goals. You can also manage creative work: upload your ad creative, write ad copy and review how your ads look on different devices.
To enable email notifications on a new rule:
Go to Automated Rules.
Select Create Rule. A new window appears where you can select your actions, conditions, and schedule.
In the Notification section, click to check the Email box.To enable email notifications on an existing rule:
Go to Automated Rules.
Select the name of the rule you want to update. A new window appears where you can edit your rule.
In the Notification section, click to check the Email box.These rules will now be included in your daily rule activity summary.
